Adsorption Characteristics of Dodecamethylcyclohexasiloxane and Dodecamethylpentasiloxane from Landfill Leachate by Municipal Solid Waste under the Landfill Circumstance

The release of siloxane from landfill leachate has attracted wide attention. In this study, dodecamethylcyclohexasiloxane (D6) and dodecamethylpentasiloxane (L5) were chosen as the target pollutants to investigate adsorption characteristics cyclosiloxane linear on municipal solid waste (MSW) under circumstance. behavior could be well described by Langmuir–Freundlich model, with a maximum capacity 0.677 ?g g?1 15.864 for L5 D6, respectively. It seems that D6 stronger affinity MSW compared L5. was observed when pH 5.0 5.5 optical temperature 30 °C. organic acid inorganic ions in restrict low level. results suggested limited at methanogenic mature stages, which may promote distribution leachate. help understand during running landfill.
